The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests during check-in, throughout their stay, and at checkout, while maximizing room revenue and occupancy. Qualifications: * At least 18 years of age preferred. * High School diploma or equivalent preferred. * Knowledgeable about customer service and telephone etiquette. Duties: * Greet and welcome all guests approaching the Front Desk in a pleasant and positive manner. * Process guest reservations, check ins, and check outs accurately. * Follow all cash handling and credit policies. * Answer guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities and hours of operation in a timely manner. * Answer inquiries from guests regarding local area including restaurants, transportation, entertainment, etc. * Obtain all necessary information when taking room reservations and follow the rate-quoting scenario. * Be familiar with hospitality terminology. Wage: * minimum wage to start.
