Jabra Manufacturing Test Engineer in Ballerup, Denmark

As our Manufacturing Test Engineer, you will work with developing our product specific production test solutions within NPI (New Product Introduction). You will collaborate with global colleagues working in designated project teams – and you will continuously be part of the development of our common manufacturing test platform.

Your responsibilities in our NPI projects, will range from developing production test concepts, outlining test fixtures, test sequences, to independently planning and structuring future test releases, for our manufacturing sites and hereby having a major impact on the production test solutions for all our products within our professional headsets, audio and video solutions, whereby you will be helping us with our purpose of Bringing People Closer.

The team you will be part of

At our global HQ, located in Ballerup, Denmark, you will join the global Manufacturing test team which works with all disciplines within our R&D organization and report to Manager, Manufacturing Test Ballerup, Morten Wille.

You will be part of a passionate, supported, and inclusive team of engineers, located at our HQ in Denmark and at our local offices in China. You will work in an international, dynamic and hybrid work environment with colleagues with multiple nationalities. Together, we support the GN vision of being the leader in intelligent audio & video solutions.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

  • Develop cost-efficient production test solutions and platforms aligned with future technology and process requirements with a focus on both software and hardware.

  • Independently managing and coordinating the project activities you are responsible for.

  • Continuously improving and updating existing test platforms.

  • Documenting test methods, procedures, and platforms.

  • Specifying test requirements in close collaboration with our product design teams.

  • Managing external partners and test equipment vendors.

We are open to your level of experience with manufacturing test management, as we will provide the needed training and onboarding, as well as, believing that there can be several ways to succeed in the role. We imagine that you have:

  • A higher educational background within engineering, operations, or similar other relevant fields of study.

  • Perhaps some years of experience within manufacturing test management, or alternatively you are interested in pursuing a career within this field.

  • Well-developed analytical and logical abilities.

  • The ability to manage several projects consecutively.

  • The ability to communicate fluently in English in speech and in writing.

If you have experience within these areas, it will be advantageous, but they are not prerequisites for the position:

  • Good understanding of video and/or acoustics solutions.

  • Experience within mass production testing of PCBAs; mass production testing of audio and/or video screens and cameras; mass production testing from the far east.

  • Programming experience: C#, LabVIEW, TestStand, Power Shell.

Depending on project activities some travel must be expected, approx. 5-15 days per year, which of course can be planned ahead of time.
