Johns Hopkins University Research Technologist in Baltimore, Maryland
The Department of Neuroscience is seeking a Research Technologist who will work in the laboratory of Dr. Xinzhong Dong and will help support research in neuro-immune focused project(s).
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
Under the general supervision of a faculty investigator and other senior laboratory members, the successful candidate will be responsible for,
Mouse colony management and organization, mouse genotyping including Cre-Lox breeding.
Maintaining and operating flow cytometry and FACS sorting machines.
Cell culture maintenance and assay(s) execution.
Mouse tissue processing for cellular assays.
Responsible or organizing and presenting data, troubleshooting protocols.
Other laboratory duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Chemistry or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in molecular and cell biology.

Starting Salary Range: $15.50 - $26.00 HRLY (Commensurate with experience)

Schedule: M-F 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
