TEKsystems Specialist, HR Service I in Baltimore, Maryland

Description:

PURPOSE: Responsible for responding to general associate inquiries about human resources programs procedures and policies. Serves as the initial point of contact for HR inquiries for the workforce. Tier 1 support. Assist functional teams daily to ensure all customer requests are handled in a timely and confidential manner. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 25 Responds to general intake inquiries from employees and manages the process necessary to bring to resolution in a timely manner. 15 Maintains information systems and processes necessary paperwork. i.e. severance telework etc. 15 Maintains and keeps updated support documentation used by HR/Shared Services/Employees ensuring relevance and current content. 15 Reviews and gathers feedback continuously on how to improve HR processes sharing with HR Shared services team members. 15 Maintains in-depth knowledge of company-specific policies and practices. 15 Acts as a liaison with functional areas with HR ensuring understanding of processes. Qualifications To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education Level: High School Diploma Education Details: Experience: 3 years years of related experience Customer service experience hr onboarding experience or experience as an hr technician/analyst/generalist. Preferred Qualifications 1-3 years HR Knowledge Knowledge Skills and Abilities KSAs Ability to work as part of a collaborative team and independently. Proficient Knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation benefits employee relations immigration performance management federal and state employment laws. Proficient Strong customer service skills. Proficient Strong acumen with systems data and reporting. Proficient Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Proficient Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Proficient Fast- pace environment with changing priorities ability to face ambiguity and rapid change. Proficient The incumbent is required to immediately disclose any debarment exclusion or other event that makes them ineligible to perform work directly or indirectly on Federal health care programs. Must be able to effectively work in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities deadlines and workloads that can be variable for long periods of time. Must be able to meet established deadlines and handle multiple customer service demands from internal and external customers within set expectations for service excellence. Must be able to effectively communicate and provide positive customer service to every internal and external customer including customers who may be demanding or otherwise challenging.
