Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Manager to lead our team responsible for Jenkins Pipelines, Kubernetes development in AWS, cost savings, and productivity improvements. As a DevOps Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the adoption of DevOps practices and ensuring the smooth operation of our development and deployment processes.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of DevOps engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support in order to achieve project goals and deliverables. Design, implement, and maintain scalable and efficient Jenkins Pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes. Oversee the development and deployment of Kubernetes applications in an AWS environment, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives, optimizing resource utilization and minimizing infrastructure expenses. Continuously evaluate and improve the productivity and efficiency of the DevOps team, implementing best practices and tools to streamline processes. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in DevOps, cloud computing, and containerization, and propose innovative solutions to enhance our development and deployment workflows. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the DevOps team.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus. Proven experience in a leadership role, successfully managing teams responsible for Jenkins Pipelines, Kubernetes development in AWS, cost savings, and productivity improvements. Strong understanding of DevOps principles, methodologies, and best practices. Expertise in designing and implementing scalable Jenkins Pipelines for CI/CD automation. In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes and experience with its deployment, management, and monitoring in AWS. Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell. Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
