JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a passionate and audience-first mindset individual to drive the F&B Marketing implementation of strategies for all outlets on property. Responsible for developing, managing and executing all the aspects in our F&B, Rooms and Spa annual program of activities based on key initiatives and strategies while protecting and empowering the brand. Guest focused profile in charge of verifying that all activities are in alignment to provide the support needed for successful implementation of all guest and client related activities across the property, divisions and communication channels. A close team worker that will collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager in managing the day-to-day F&B content for e-commerce, social media and offline channels.

A successful Marketing Executive is to be a protector and loyal ambassador of the Hotel Arts brand and all its subsidiary brands, a proactive individual willing to drive innovation and results in a fast-paced environment.

CORE RESPONSIBILITES

  • Assist in all Marketing duties, including but not limited to: maintaining an updated media library, copywriting, creative briefing of agencies, in-house graphic designing, and 3rd party suppliers.

  • Brief, coordinate & meet on regular basis with internal teams and potential agencies & production suppliers.

  • Support in creating and delivering, advertisements and other marketing materials making sure that it fits the tonality, the spirit, and the overall guidelines of the Hotel Arts Barcelona brand.

  • Assist in ensuring that all hotel related offline and online in-house information are accurate, updated and organized particularly when provided to internal and external customers.

  • Active participation in idea generation towards developing collaterals, presentations, events, and promotions. Identify new combined opportunities / sponsorships with already established brands that fit within the overall HAB strategy.

  • Represent the brand in all marketing activities in Hotel Arts Barcelona and Marriott International’s core values and corporate strategies, with support from the DOM.

  • Participate in the creation and implementation of the F&B annual program to promote product and services in property outlets.

  • Collateral production to promote the hotel, its venues and special events or offers.

  • Collateral production for all divisions other than F&B to ensure the right operation of the hotel and meet guest expectations.

  • Execute promotions targeting the hotel’s various market segments, where required in collaboration with the Sales team.

  • Support Hotel Arts’ F&B photo and video library and conduct shoots where applicable including updating new images in collaboration with the Digital Marketing Manager.

  • Coordinate F&B activities and attend F&B Marketing meetings as required.

  • Attend all relevant meetings, ensuring active participation, timely follow up on action items and pro-active dissemination of relevant communication points back to the department.

  • Be an early adopter and champion for innovation, to deliver relevant brand partnerships, online, channel engagement and enhanced guest experience.

  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with partners, suppliers, and vendors.

  • Promote awareness of brand image internally and externally.

  • Develop marketing materials and assemble information packages (e.g., brochures, promotional materials, maps) for promotional events, property tours, and conferences.

  • Generate reports and analytics on current trends and hotel's performance.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education & Experience Required:

  • 4-year bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, or related major; 1-year experience in the sales, marketing, digital or related professional area; hospitality marketing or digital advertising agency experience preferred.

OR

  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration or related major and 4 years’ experience in the sales, marketing, digital or related professional area; hospitality marketing or digital advertising experience preferred.

Hard & Soft skills Required:

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to network

  • Creativity, writing and design skills

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities

  • Hard skills on Adobe Package handling (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator mainly)

  • MS Office package knowledge

  • Spanish and English proficiency level, spoken and written
