Oracle Senior Solutions Engineer in BARCELONA, Spain
Job Description
The role of the SDN Solutions Engineer is to provide technical guidance to the ecosystem of technology partners in the SuiteCloud Developer Network (https://www.netsuite.eu/developers/overview.shtml) on building integrations with NetSuite Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
This is a unique opportunity for an individual who is an effective communicator (verbal and written) and possesses excellent skills in the areas of enterprise application design and development.
The successful candidate is an engaging communicator who can articulate complex technical solutions effectively to diverse audiences.
The ability to be self-reliant and work with little supervision is a must.
What we require:
Knowledge of any objective programming language (Java/C#...)and JavaScript in enterprise application development
2 years in ERP or similar enterprise systems such as CRM, WMS, HCM
Knowledge on Require.js, Handlebars, Backbone.js, Sass is preferable
Web Services (SOAP and REST)
Solid understanding of all aspects of web development
Experience in software localization is a plus
Career Level - IC3
Responsibilities
The core responsibilities include providing guidance on API and platform capabilities, application architecture and development best practices, technical documents, sample code and prototypes.
The candidate’s work includes providing application design proposals, guidance on correct API usage, testing and deployment methodologies and sample code. The candidate also acts as a liaison for partner technical teams and NetSuite-Oracle internal technical teams.
A SDN Solutions Engineer works with other software architects and engineers from our technology partners (primarily in the EMEA region) on building their cloud applications and integrations using the SuiteCloud platform tools and APIs. The guidance provided must adhere to the defined quality principles, with the end goal of helping the partner applications achieving certification status.
