Job Title: Service Technician
Job Description
As a Service Technician, you will fulfill all required duties including scheduling and working unsupervised from both verbal and written instructions on maintenance, installations, and repairs. You will instruct associates and customers on the proper maintenance and repair of equipment, perform maintenance inspections, and prepare necessary documentation of repairs and observations. Additionally, you will adjust, fit, and align equipment to manufacturers' specifications, provide phone support to customers, and offer support to the parts department as required. Your role is crucial in communicating and providing feedback to management on opportunities to improve customer and associate satisfaction. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Hard Skills
Experience with 433A (Nice to have)
5+ years' experience in repairing/troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic production equipment
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and repair manuals
Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing stamping presses or similar industrial equipment
Ability to test, set, and adjust controls for proper operating of equipment
Experience with heavy machinery equipment is an asset
Able to lift 60lbs
Soft Skills

This is a permanent position.
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Barrie, Ontario.
Work Environment
The position offers a regular shift from 8 AM to 5 PM; however, flexibility is required as you may be called at any time. This role requires travel to client sites within a 2-hour driving radius from Barrie. The compensation for this role ranges from $35-$42/hr, with potential up to $45/hr for exceptionally qualified candidates
