Job Purpose

As a Procurement and Logistics Coordinator, your primary responsibility is to streamline material flow for all necessary products, including spares, direct and indirect materials, and services. You will play a crucial role in refining and executing purchasing processes while actively contributing to their improvement. This position also involves managing internal goods flow, data, and gauge management. With ARTIDIS experiencing growth and evolving processes, you'll have a unique opportunity to shape future structures and processes within your working environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain master data for inventory materials and test equipment relevant to purchasing.

  • Administer vendor management processes, including qualification and onboarding.

  • Manage inventory levels of direct materials to meet production needs.

  • Execute purchase orders, ensuring favorable terms and conditions and adherence to procedures.

  • Communicate with vendors regarding delivery schedules, quality issues, and cost concerns.

  • Ensure adherence to quality controls at suppliers and internally, resolving complaints as needed.

  • Manage inbound processing and internal logistics, including warehouse organization, gauge management, and production replenishment.

  • Handle outbound processing for testing, repair, calibration, and internal replenishment.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

    Qualifications

  • Technical or commercial apprenticeship, HF, or FH education; specialization in supply chain management preferred.

  • Demonstrated expertise in purchasing and procurement processes.

  • Strong negotiation skills with commercial acumen.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.

  • Fluency in English and German, both written and spoken.

  • Experience in a regulated environment such as ISO 13485 is essential.

  • Ability to understand technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.

  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma principles; certification is advantageous.

  • APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP) is a plus.
