Job Title: MIG Welder
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding steel enclosures that house diesel generators and diesel fuel oil supply tanks. This role involves layout, fitting, and MIG welding on mild steel. The ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and tape measures is essential.
Responsibilities
Perform MIG welding on steel enclosures for diesel generators and diesel fuel oil supply tanks.
Carry out layout and fitting tasks.
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and tape measures.
Utilize hand and power tools effectively.
Essential Skills
Minimum of two years of experience in MIG welding.
Proficient in layout and fitting.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Basic understanding of hand and power tools.
Proficient in reading tape measures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in welding school is a plus.

This position is in a manufacturing work environment with over 100 employees. The facility is not climate controlled.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of BATAVIA, Ohio.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
