The Opportunity:
Join the prestigious AEGIS Test Team at Bath Iron Works and play a crucial role in safeguarding our nation's naval defense. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for configuring and maintaining the cutting-edge AEGIS Weapon System on DDG 51 Class ships during construction. This exciting position offers the chance to work with advanced technology in a dynamic shipyard environment, contributing directly to the readiness of the U.S. Navy fleet.

Responsibilities:
• Configure and maintain the AEGIS Weapon System computer program throughout ship construction.
• Ensure system compliance with authorized configurations.
• Develop and track changes to support testing and integration.
• Provide timely status reports to relevant stakeholders.
• Manage user accounts on the AEGIS Weapon System.
Qualifications:
Required:
• BS in a relevant technical field.
• Proficiency with Linux command line operations.
• Strong analytical and communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Capability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
• Adaptability to work in a shipyard environment, including occasional short periods at sea.
Desired:
• Experience with VMWare configurations in Linux environments.
• Knowledge of network administration and LINUX/UNIX systems.
• Proficiency in Bash shell scripting.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$43,500 - $86,900
