TEKsystems Pattern Engineer 2 in Beaverton, Oregon

Description

The nature of the work is focused on research and development of products from conception to retail to meet the needs of accounts and consumers. Collaborates with Marketing/Design to interpret design concept into 2- dimensional patterns. Consults with product triad to clarify concepts and lend pattern-making and fit technical expertise. Creates first models from concept pictures. Incorporates styling and fit changes determined by design/marketing/development during fit sessions or design process. Inspects and critiques samples. Creates and/or revises product specifications with construction details for production. Ensures specifications detail construction methods that optimizes profitability.

Typically requires a Bachelors Degree and minimum of 2-4 years directly relevant work experience Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law 1 yr Masters 0-3 yrs Associates degree 1-3 yrs High School 3-5 yrs.

Concept Engineer, Bowerman Footwear Lab

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

The Bowerman Footwear Lab (BFL) is a one-stop shop for creation, collaboration, and education for the greater Nike Footwear community. They have the machines and capabilities to produce one-of-a-kind footwear prototypes in Beaverton, facilities dedicated to hosting collaborative working sessions, and staff devoted to generating best in industry training courses around footwear product creation. The BFL works with various groups across Nike such as footwear design, product creation, and innovation.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $43.33/hr.
