Join Amazon’s Finance Tech team as a Senior Product Manager Technical (L6) and lead the charge in building transformative payment innovations for one of the world’s most dynamic ecosystems.

Key job responsibilities

Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for global payment solutions, from ideation to launch and iteration, ensuring alignment with Amazon’s strategic goals.

Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and success metrics, balancing technical feasibility with customer needs and business impact.

Collaborate with engineering teams to architect scalable systems, prioritize technical requirements, and resolve dependencies across distributed systems.

Lead cross-functional initiatives with stakeholders in engineering, compliance, UX, finance, and operations to deliver products on time and at global scale.

Champion customer-centric innovation by conducting market research, analyzing payment trends, and identifying opportunities to reduce friction in global transactions.

Drive operational excellence by establishing KPIs, monitoring performance, and iterating based on data insights and customer feedback.

Mentor junior product managers and foster a culture of rigor, experimentation, and continuous improvement.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

  • Experience managing technical products or online services

  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight

  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
