What You'll Do:
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including business, product, and software engineering—to understand business problems, review requirements, define technical specifications, and scope, design, develop, test, and deploy robust services and systems.
· Engage in design and code reviews to uphold high standards for quality, availability, scalability, and performance.
· Develop large-scale, complex applications, services, and systems.
· Contribute to both front-end development and back-end services and data platform initiatives.
What You'll Bring:
· A minimum of 5+ years of relevant industry experience in building highly available systems.
· Strong programming skills with languages such as React, JavaScript, and Java.
· Experience with big data technologies and frameworks, such as Kafka.
· Familiarity with cloud platforms and services, particularly Azure.
· Demonstrated end-to-end ownership from inception to production deployment of complex projects.
· Effective problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to balance long-term vision with short- term design trade-offs.
· Expertise in service-oriented architecture, as well as with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
· Proficiency in CI/CD and operational excellence best practices.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including consensus building, conflict resolution, and persuasive influence.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00-$216,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
