SORTER AND MATERIALS HANDLER - PART TIMEGarden State Books & Media IncGARDEN STATE BOOKS & MEDIA is seeking a PART-TIME SORTER AND MATERIALS HANDLER at our Bellmawr, NJ warehouse. This position will be directly supervised by the owner of the company.Come grow with our company! Garden State Books & Media would like to offer the right person a chance to work with a small business that is ready to grow. This job offers:- $18.00 an hour (20 hours a week)- Flexible scheduling- Paid training, including eventual forklift training for the right candidate- Free books from our discardsJob responsibilities include:- Sorting pallets of books & media according to guidelines prepared by Garden State Books- Operating heavy equipment (pallet tilter)- Picking books from shelves for shipping to customers- Basic cleaning responsibilitiesQualifications include:- Can work in a hot environment. Our warehouse does not have AC and can get above 90 degrees in the summer (we have fans for comfort)- Can stand for long periods of time.- Speaks and understands both written and spoken English.- Basic computer skills (sorting is done with a scanner and web based system).- Knowledge of a diverse range of book genres is a plus.Garden State Books & Media Inc sells used books, CDs, and DVDs on Amazon and eBay.
