Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in manufacturing stainless steel tanks for the dairy industry. This role involves welding, grinding, and fabrication, with a primary focus on MIG welding stainless steel and aluminum. Our facility includes opportunities for in-house certification and cross-training in various departments.
Responsibilities
Perform MIG welding on stainless steel and aluminum for tank production in various positions including flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead.
Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, bolt, custom fabricate, or grind materials as needed to meet technical requirements and create a welded final product.
Control fitting, burning, and welding processes to prevent overheating, distortion, expansion, or shrinkage of parts.
Read and understand basic prints and drawings.
Problem-solve fabrication tasks effectively.
Execute overhead welding tasks.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in MIG welding with over 3 years of experience.
Experience in welding stainless steel.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Competence in fitting, assembly, and fabrication.
Ability to weld in various positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with TIG welding is a plus.
Certification in welding is advantageous.
Ability to train others and work independently.
High efficiency in welding tasks (95-100%).

Work Environment
The position is for the 1st shift with hours from Monday to Thursday (5am-3:30pm). Overtime is available after training, with voluntary OT on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The facility is brand new, featuring state-of-the-art equipment, AI-integrated security, a workout facility, cafeteria, vending machines, and restrooms with full-sized showers. We have a structured PTO system with paid vacation and personal days, 11 paid holidays, and a birthday off paid. The company maintains a clear attendance policy to ensure a professional and reliable work environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beloit, Wisconsin.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
