Description

We are looking for a Paralegal to join our team in Bethesda, Maryland. This role involves managing case files, supporting attorneys and office staff, and performing tasks such as e-filing and dictation. This is a temporary position that offers a chance to work in a dynamic, in-office environment. Responsibilities:

• Handle e-filing and case filing tasks diligently and promptly

• Assist in lifting and organizing paper files up to 50 lbs

• Conduct dictation tasks, experience is not necessary as training will be provided

• Provide support to two attorneys and other office staff, ensuring smooth operations

• Demonstrate strong typing skills and attention to detail in all tasks

• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite effectively for various tasks

• Maintain an organized and detail-oriented approach to work

• Adapt to the fast-paced, in-office work environment in Bethesda, Maryland

• Be ready to start immediately, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 9AM-5PM

• Adhere to the company's vaccination and mask mandates for the safety of all employees.

Skills:

• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suites

• Experience in a law office or as a Paralegal is preferred

• Exceptional Typing skills.

Requirements • Proficiency in typing and the ability to produce accurate written content swiftly

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

• Familiarity with the operations of a law office and legal documentation

• Prior experience or training as a paralegal

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work

• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

• Strong research and analytical skills

• Familiarity with legal research tools and databases

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Demonstrated professionalism and adherence to ethical standards

• Bachelor's degree in law or related field, or equivalent paralegal certification.
