Description We are looking for a meticulous and dedicated Data Entry Clerk to join our team in BETHLEHEM, Pennsylvania, 18018-5738, United States. The primary function of this position is to ensure accurate and efficient data entry and verification of policy information via our proprietary computer systems. You will be expected to maintain a high level of personal project management skills while ensuring the timely and accurate entry of information. This role operates in a hybrid workplace, with in-office days on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and work from home on Mondays and Fridays.

Responsibilities:

• Review client/insured data from one proprietary mainframe system and transfer data to a second proprietary mainframe system.

• Compile and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered, maintaining high quality and production goals.

• Ensure accurate entry of existing data and apply the appropriate/matching additional coverages.

• Represent the company in addressing referral reasons/instances with agents and internal customers.

• Review and correct any errors within 24 hours of return from the team specialist and/or trainer.

• Research policy information from one proprietary mainframe and system and enter the data into a second proprietary system.

• Document data accurately and follow established process procedures, understanding where to locate all information necessary to complete the process.

• Update existing tracking documents to manage their assigned work as well as managing their calendar.

• Work both independently and as an engaged member of the team, managing one's time effectively.

• Utilize Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Excel, Access, and Word for email communication and tracking. Requirements • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suites, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proven experience in data entry and documentation.

• Familiarity with operating systems, preferably Windows OS.

• Ability to adhere to procedures and policies.

• Strong research skills.

• A focus on quality and ability to review data for accuracy.

• Basic understanding of project management principles.

• Knowledge of insurance industry would be a plus.

• Experience with time management software such as 'About Time'.

• Ability to manage production and work within tight deadlines.

• Proficiency in using spreadsheets for data management.

• Experience in calendar management.

• Ability to verify data and ensure its accuracy.

• Familiarity with computer systems.

• Knowledge of R Code would be beneficial.

• Willingness to work onsite.

• Prior experience in a similar role would be preferable.
