The Optimum Business Web Developer will utilize their knowledge of front-end development to assist in building and maintaining our digital platforms. They will support the everyday web development and integration needs across a variety of initiatives driving growth in sales channels both online and offline. This role will serve as a key thought-leader within our company, helping to champion a "digital first" planning culture, and supporting corporate efforts to further adopt digital technologies as a core part of our sales and marketing, and care operations.
This is a position that requires a dedicated professional and will have hands-on involvement in all website and e-commerce activities. This role will be primarily responsible for supporting the ongoing development and maintenance of Optimum Business' web technology stack including CMS, TMS, analytics, hosting, and integrations with media or internal CRM/BSS/OSS platforms. This individual will improve our ability to convert customers through engaging and personal experiences utilizing content management and marketing automation platforms. Understanding the customer lifecycle and different customer types will be crucial for creating targeted journeys and campaigns.
As a developer you will support multiple IT project pipelines, working with a mix of internal teams and external agencies to define requirements, responsibilities, deliverables, and associated timelines to accomplish set goals. The successful candidate must possess a thorough knowledge of technical documentation best practices and project management software. Creating a clear timeline of both short-term and long-term initiatives is critical to succeeding in this role.

*Share development of business.optimum.net and myfiberportal.com with cross-functional support and operations teams
*Manage website data layer and tag management for dynamic content, analytics, and media optimizations utilizing Adobe Marketing Platform
*Manage technical integrations with 3rd party platforms including Amdocs, Netcracker, Zendesk, Salesforce, TeamSupport, and others
*Contribute to project and technical requirement documentation across IT groups, agencies, and other 3rd party partners
*Ensure website responsiveness and optimal user experience across different devices and browsers.
*Implement security best practices to protect against vulnerabilities and ensure data integrity.
*Annotate site revisions to maintain proper record keeping through content version control
*Work closely with QA to ensure functionality and address user-reported issues
*Ensure websites adhere to relevant accessibility guidelines and best practices
*Monitor and report on regular tests/updates
*Adhere to deadlines and complete work accurately and in a timely manner
*Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required.
*4+ years of experience in a web development using HTML, CSS, JS and web frameworks required
*Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code with a strong affinity for simple solutions.
*Experience reading and utilizing API documentation required
*Experience with Drupal, Adobe AEM, or other CMS platforms required
*Experience with Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch, or other TMS required
*Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) required
*Experience optimizing a personalization-focused web experience: A/B testing, dynamic creative testing, multivariate testing, usability testing, and site behavior/path analysis required
*Some experience with Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics required
*Some experience with Jira or other project management tools required
*Technical certifications desirable
*Ability to produce clear, compelling, and motivational communications quickly
*Ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment
*Ability to think and act strategically and proactively
*Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
