CAYUSE LIVESTOCK CO Farmworkers & Laborers, crop and nursery in BIG TIMBER, Montana
Temporary full-time position from 05/14/2025 to 09/30/2025 We are a cow/calf yearling operation and we grow hay using flood irrigation. We have several pickups, UTVs, ATVs that require service and maintenance. Additionally, we have 2 late model John Deere tractors, skid steer, dump truck, backhoe and an excavator that are used for maintaining roads, stock water systems, fencing and irrigation canals. We use horses and ATVs to move our cattle with. Welding skills are needed for this maintenance as well. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: apply products such as fertilizers, pesticides, growth inhibitors, etc; attach/detach implements; clean work areas; construct facilities; operate self propelled machinery; repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; tend to livestock by feeding, medicating, general care, grading, sorting, working, placing identification on, or relocating; use hand tools such as such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, loppers, knives, wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: dirt moving equipment, GPS guidance systems, pickups, cars, etc, sprayers, straight frame trucks, tractor/trailer combinations, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: cattle, hay. Fencing both conventional and electric fences. Must speak and understand English.
