Henry Ford Health System Registered Nurse- Occupational Health- Part Time in Bingham Farms, Michigan

GENERAL SUMMARY:

  • This position is an onsite school nurse with David Ellis Academy.

  • Maintain an autonomous nursing practice focused on the promotion, protection and restoration of employees health utilizing the standard AAOHN domains of occupational health nursing within the context of a safe and healthy manufacturing and non-manufacturing environment as well as following the nursing practice standards of the State of Michigan.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum Work Experience: 12 months of accumulated experience within the last 5 years; new graduate; in lieu of 12 months of accumulated experience, a new graduate will be eligible for employment after completion of 1200 verified hours of employment within the last 12 months or the standard practice within the RN community.

  • Required: RN diploma/degree from accredited School of Nursing; Valid RN license in the appropriate state; Current BCLS certification.

  • Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing; ABOHN certification, COHN, COHN-S, COHN-S/CM, etc.; CAOHC Audiometric certification; Respiratory Fit certification; Breath Alcohol certification (BAT); Continuing Education Credits. Experience in occupational healthcare
