The Job:

As a Supply Planner with our HTAS Manufacturing Southern Asia team in Binh Duong, Vietnam, you will be instrumental in supporting daily operations using JDA Planning and SAP Sales systems. Your key responsibilities include maintaining high service levels and ensuring inventory remains within target levels. You will lead plant projects to manage and implement new product launches and design changes for brands like DEWALT and CRAFTSMAN. Additionally, you will act as the primary point of contact for resolving issues in your designated region, ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Location: VSIP1, No. 35, Independent Avenue, Binh Hoa Ward, Thuan An, Binh Duong, Vietnam.

Working hours: 5 days/48 hours/week.

  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including the Supply Chain, Marketing, and other relevant teams within the SBD organization, to maintain optimal fill rates and inventory levels.

  • Utilize different forecasting tools and techniques to manage sales orders and capacity planning effectively.

  • Work closely with the regional product manager and cross-functional teams to consolidate resources for new finished goods development and product design changes.

  • Oversee the process from RFQ, ESL, MSL, to mass production, ensuring timely and cost-effective product introductions.

  • Implement a structured process for tracking, analysing, and resolving customer complaints and concerns.

  • Provide effective responses, working with quality team to address root causes and implement corrective actions.

  • Collaborate with production, packing, and warehouse departments to manage customer orders efficiently.

  • Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects aimed at reducing lead time and cost.

  • Assist in improving MOQ by using data to drive decision-making and measure the impact of improvement initiatives.

  • Undertake other assignments as directed by the Line Manager.

The Person:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field

  • Experiences:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in supply planning/ customer service/ order management/ data analysis.

  • Knowledge about manufacturing process is a must.

  • Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Great sense of logic about ERP system (experience with SAP and JDA is preferred)

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

  • Familiarly with international trade process.

  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and a good team player with strong sense of responsibilities

  • Other requirements:

  • Advanced proficiency in English.

  • Frequent visits to the production floor are required.

  • Chinese Skill is a plus.
