JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Location, Bloomer, WI Description: Kobussen Buses Ltd is seeking Motorcoach drivers to transport passengers for trips and tours. We are a 3rd generation, family-owned transportation company with over 1,000 employees located throughout Wisconsin. Trips can be one day or multiple days depending on the geographic area of the event. Duties include: Drive vehicles over specified routes or to specified destinations according to time schedules, complying with traffic regulations to ensure that passengers have a smooth and safe ride. Park vehicles at loading areas so that passengers can board. Inspect vehicles and check gas, oil, and water levels prior to departure. Announce stops to passengers. Assist passengers, such as elderly or disabled individuals, on and off bus, ensure they are seated properly, help carry baggage, and answer questions about bus schedules or routes. Handle passenger emergencies or disruptions. Report delays or accidents. Advise passengers to be seated and orderly while on vehicles. Regulate heating, lighting, and ventilating systems for passenger comfort. Record information, such as cash receipts and ticket fares, and maintain log book. Maintain cleanliness of bus or motor coach. Read maps to plan bus routes. Load and unload baggage in baggage compartments. Qualifications: 1-2 years Commercial Motor Vehicle Driving Excellent customer service skills Ability to read and interpret documents Ability to speak effectively with internal staff and external customers Ability to calculate figures and perform addition, subtraction, multiplication and division Ability to lift up to 50 pounds of office of equipment and/or luggage Ability to maintain a strong attendance and punctuality record Possess a functional knowledge of the demographics of the service area Follow Kobussen Buses Ltd. safety and operational rules and procedures Obtain and maintain a CDL license with S & P endorsements as well as air brake certification Working in inclement weather conditions Hours: Work hours will vary and include nights and weekends. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Drivers are responsible for the safety of the passengers and must observe all traffic laws. Operators also serve as customer service representatives and may act as program directors. The job requires drivers to display a high level of safety and professionalism when transporting passengers.
