Ziegler CAT Corporate Switchboard Operator / Receptionist in Bloomington, Minnesota

Ziegler CAT has an opening for a Corporate Switchboard / Receptionist team member to meet the needs of callers and visitors in an expedient and professional manner. The Receptionist/Switchboard Operator provides the first point of contact with the Company and is an integral part of keeping internal and external communication connections organized and effective. This position will also provide support to the accounts payable department. Hours are Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5pm with some limited flexibility. Responsibilities: Answer incoming calls, determine purpose of call and forward to appropriate individual or department Welcome all visitors / employees and maintain check-in information Obtains necessary information on new markets, divisions, and personnel, in order to appropriately handle all incoming calls and walk-ins concerning Ziegler operations Maintains phone listings, organized company product and services information for various divisions and markets Performs clerical tasks related to managing the switchboard unit Files, types, enters data, maintains records, and uses and completes forms related to the switchboard operation Helps oversee the switchboard schedule and ensures back-up staff is appropriately utilized and trained Provides support to the Accounts Payable department via invoice processing Other administrative tasks as time allows Qualifications: High School Degree/GED required, Associate's degree preferred 2-5 years of related experience preferred Strong customer service skills required VistaPoint and/or Cisco Phone System experience preferred Personal Attributes: Commitment / Dependability, Customer Focus, Positive and Welcoming Attitude, Patient Listener Minimum Physical Requirements: Hearing and talking. Working Conditions will be indoor.
