Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
We have an immediate opening for Machine Operators. Candidates do not need to have specific machine operation or stamping press experience but must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for operating one of the 20 presses, working in teams of up to four members, placing raw material on the press, and ensuring safety by using sensors. You will also visually inspect parts and potentially use gauges to ensure specifications are met.
Responsibilities
Operate one of the 20 presses in the facility.
Work in teams of up to four members to place raw material on the press.
Ensure safety by placing hands on sensors before operating the press.
Visually inspect parts after they come out of the press.
Use gauges to ensure parts meet specifications.
Essential Skills
Ability to lift 45 lbs.
Wearing steel-toed boots.
Steady job history.

Work Environment
Our facility is a metal stamping company supporting the automotive and heavy equipment industries. The environment is loud and not temperature controlled, so it can get hot in the summer. Employees typically wear jeans and steel-toed boots. We pride ourselves on our team-oriented, laid-back culture.
2nd Shift, 3:30pm - 2:00am (Monday - Thursday), occasional Friday's depending on work load but they do pride themselves on 4 10 hour days.
Will train on days from 5am-3:30pm for 3-6 weeks.
- $18.48/hour.
- $0.65 shift bonus ($19.13) for 90 days and then $1.00 ($19.48) shift bonus once they are hired by us.
- .25 cent attendance bonus if they work with their full schedule for that week

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bluffton, Indiana.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.32 - $17.97/hr.
