A leading manufacturing company in Suffolk County, NY is seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee their warehouse operations. The role requires working in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. Responsibilities
Proficient in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety protocols, including FIFO, Certificate of Analysis (COfA) compliance, and batch identification.
Executes proper procedures for receiving all incoming materials.
Manages unloading and loading of trucks.
Oversees restocking of warehouse locations, optimizing space for future deliveries and maintaining inventory levels.
Maintains cleanliness and organization of inventory areas.
Completes all necessary paperwork related to receiving within designated timeframes.
Follows instructions from Facility Manager, ensuring efficient workflow.
Assists production by providing necessary ingredients and facilitating product location as required.
Communicates effectively regarding shipment statuses, inventory control, and reporting of adjustments.
Responsible for proper storage, rotation, and labeling of all inventory items.
Maintains accurate inventory records.
