As we continue to grow, we are looking to add a dedicated Service Porter to our team who is enthusiastic about providing exceptional customer service and supporting our service department.
Position Overview: As a Service Porter at Lithia Ford of Boise, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our service department. You will be responsible for movement of vehicles in the service area, ensuring that vehicles are properly staged, and assisting with customer service tasks. This is a hands-on position requiring attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a genuine passion for automotive industry and customer service.
Responsibilities:
Schedules appointments for service via telephone, e-mail and in person
Welcome clients when they arrive in the Service Area. Determine the nature of visit and escort the client to the appropriate department/area.
Provide administrative support to the staff when necessary.
Prepare warranty repair orders with accuracy, legibility and compliance to the manufacturer's warranty policies and procedures as outlined in appropriate manufacturer's Warranty Policy and Procedure Manuals. Process warranty claims in a timely manner, as the repair orders are closed.
Move and work with vehicles to maintain display and support management
Delivers vehicles & assist shuttle driver as required.
Thoroughly clean and maintain all vehicles.
Monitor tire pressure of vehicles; add air and fuel as needed.
Recognize general vehicle repairs and/or building maintenance and notify management.
Maintain internal and external appearance and cleanliness of the store, showroom and lot.
Run miscellaneous errands for the store.
Qualifications:
Operate a wide variety of cars, light trucks, and vans, with ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions

Professional appearance and work ethic
