Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Boise, Idaho

Job Title: Maintenance Technician $38-49/HR!

Job Description

We are a major food and beverage manufacturing company providing end-to-end packaging solutions, located in North Ogden. We are looking to hire Maintenance Technicians for our facility. The ideal candidate will have experience working in beverage manufacturing, specifically in processing and packaging departments.

Responsibilities

  • Work with cutting-edge technology and innovation in beverage manufacturing.

  • Install, startup, and shutdown equipment in accordance with company safety policies and OSHA requirements.

  • Perform mechanic skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and troubleshooting for the repair and maintenance of production equipment.

  • Carry out necessary logistics work, including receiving goods, preparing goods for upcoming production orders, and loading bulk products for shipment.

  • Comply with all rules and policies regarding health, occupational, environmental, and food safety, as well as legal regulations and company requirements.

  • Maintain strict Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

  • Ensure compliance with the company's Integrated Management Systems, including Production, Quality, Food Safety, and GMP.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education. Trade or vocational school education is preferred.

  • 2 years of experience working in a maintenance role in various environments.

  • Experience with blending systems, pumps, valves, and think tops.

  • Experience working in a food and beverage manufacturing facility is preferred.

  • Industrial electrical up to 480 VACS, Controls, PLC/software & hardware experience preferred.

  • Experience with homogenizers, sterilizers, and hydraulics is preferred.

  • Able to understand and safely use various hand tools and power tools to complete maintenance tasks.

  • Knowledge of electrical components such as VFDs, motor starters, and temperature sensors.

Work Environment

Manufacturing Facility with Night Shift Hours: 7:00pm - 7:00am on an alternating 3-2-2 schedule including weekends. This role involves working with advanced technologies and machinery within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Ogden, Utah.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $79040.00/yr.

age)

• Change in employment or job status

You must make changes to your benefits within 30 days of your qualifying life event. If you miss the

deadline, you may have to wait until next year's annual enrollment.
