GeoStabilization International Regional Field Mechanic in Boise, Idaho
Overview
As a Field Mechanic you will be responsible for preventive maintenance, repairing, and emergency repairs for heavy construction equipment with a primary focus on hydraulics, electrical, pneumatic, engine (Gas and Diesel) troubleshooting systems and welding fabrication required. CMV driver qualification required.
Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance, repair and emergency repairs on RoadGuards fleet of equipment that involves heavy construction equipment, some proprietary equipment, and other smaller pieces of equipment.

Work in all weather conditions; extreme heat and cold conditions
Work on uneven ground
Ability to ascend and descend access points on equipment
Ability to stand for 8-12 hours
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Ability to drive a company vehicle
Ability to drive for up to 11 hours
Ability to pass CMV driver requirements
Travel:Heavy regional travel, typically within 2-4 hours of home base.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
5+ years of heavy construction equipment and repair field experience required
5+ years of hydraulics and electrical troubleshooting experience required
5+ years of Diesel troubleshooting, and repair experience required
Experience/certification to operate fork lifts
The ability to travel extensively for work regionally
Welding experience
Working in team environment: customer service-people skills
Preferred qualifications:
+ + Licensing/certification as a mechanic highly desired
Trade School/College degree preferred
CAT Certifications preferred
Komatsu Certifications preferred
Hydraulic training preferred
Electrical Training preferred
After treatment troubleshooting training preferred
Heavy equipment experience
Pay Range: $33/Hr
