JOB REQUIREMENTS: Enforce safety regulations. Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions. Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals. Confer with other team leaders to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments. Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the production or processing of goods, such as inspectors, machine setters, or fabricators. Conduct employee training in equipment operations or work and safety procedures, or assign employee training to experienced workers. Calculate labor and equipment requirements and production specifications, using standard formulas. Recommend or implement measures to motivate employees and to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency. Must be able to lead a team through motivation, team building, conflict resolution, etc. Know, understand and be able to calculate all cell based measures Be able to direct all operations this is a working team leader role. Promote, understand and be able to calculate all goal-sharing measures - COQ, on-time shipments, quality, safety, etc. Ensure cell is staffed according to our labor standards Have a thorough understanding on how to satisfy internal and external customers Know how to read an open order report, schedule work, and have working understanding of blueprints Print and scan labels, stage complete orders at loading dock. Ability to read and use wonder report/bucket sheet. Ability to make sound judgments, problem solve and support manager as needed. Job knowledge along with performance evaluations and an interview process will determine the best candidates for the position. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Previous leadership skills preferred Must have a good work record with excellent attendance. Successful completion of a drug screen is required. Must be able to assemble product weighing up to 50 lbs. and stand continuously.
