Job Title: Heavy Machine Operator
Job Description: Looking for heavy machine operator for various commercial projects within a 60-mile radius of Ames, IA.
Responsibilities:
Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and cranes.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to complete projects efficiently.
Read and interpret blueprints, maps, and project plans.
Load and unload materials and equipment as needed.
Adhere to all company policies and regulatory requirements.
Skills:
2+ years of professional experience operating heavy machinery on construction sites.
Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
Expertise in operating and maintaining various heavy machinery.
Job Type
- This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s)
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr.
