NJ Employer Agricultural Equipment Operators in Bordentown, New Jersey

*Workers referred against this order must have a minimum of 3 months experience in performing tasks described in this order within an natural vegetable production farming environment.
Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery to plow, harrow and prepare soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest, grade, wash and bunch crops and herbs where appropriate. Manually plant, cultivate, and harvest fruits. These crops include, all-natural vegetables to include herbs, mixed greens, beans, tomatoes, peppers, squash, eggplant and several types of Asian vegetables. Use hand tools, such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, and knives. Duties will include tilling soil and applying new compost; transplanting, weeding, thinning, or pruning crops. Set up, operate, monitor & maintain irrigation system. Sort, pack, bunch, wash vegetables and berries, and load trucks for CSA and markets. Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment. Apply new compost to crops.
