If you are located in Boston, MA you will have the flexibility to work remotely*, as well as work in the office as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide administrative and project specific support to Epidemiologists and Project Managers (schedule meetings, record meeting minutes, conduct literature searches, etc.)
Format project deliverables including tables, figures, reports, manuscripts, presentations, etc.
Ensure quality assurance of prepared deliverables
Prepare materials for Institutional Review Board, National Death Index and internal health plan approval
Follow department standard operating procedures
Assist fellow Research Associate team members as needed
Lead and manage the efforts and performance of all third-party consultants and vendors to execute project activities according to project milestones
Assist in development of data collection materials and third-party vendor/consultant training materials
Plan, organize and manage data collection aspects of assigned medical record or survey research activities
Ensure quality assurance of deliverables from third-party vendors and consultants including status reports, data collection tools, etc.
Act as a primary liaison for study team members and third parties (vendors, consultants, patients, and providers) for project questions
Maintain and communicate project timelines and status reports with internal project team members, vendors, and external consultants
Organize, maintain, handle, and archive sensitive and protected information
Perform regular archiving of project emails and study documentation
Assist with internal and external audit preparation and support

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, public health, life sciences, chemistry, biology, or related science degree
1+ years of work experience in an administrative, research/lab or project support role
Experience formatting materials for reports, tables and presentations supporting projects and clients
Experience with document management and organization for internal/external audit support
Experience ensuring work quality by following SOPs and department procedures
Experience working independently and proactively solving problems in a collaborative team environment
Experience communicating professionally, both orally and in writing to internal and external partners/clients
Intermediate proficiency or higher in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
Currently reside in Boston, MA area with the ability to work in-office 3 days a week
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with medical records, surveys, and/or health claims data
Experience in Adobe Acrobat Professional and/or Visio
Interest in epidemiology, drug safety, public health, and/or pharmaceuticals
