FIRST RF Accounting Associate II in Boulder, Colorado

To support the Sr. Accounting Associate and Sr. Accountant in daily and monthly responsibilities of the Finance/Accounting department

Essential Functions

Maintain/Manage Petty Cash Maintain and mange Fixed Asset schedule to ensure proper recording of new purchases and disposals Assist with Month End Close procedures as assigned while utilizing current technologies to ensure proper record keeping Manage and book timekeeping for entire company Support Payroll System and Payroll related items Support billing with divisional billings related to shipments and monthly costs Support Accounts Payable, AMEX, Reimbursements Maintain deposits and collections of accounts receivable Support audits, and regulatory reporting and inquires Other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers and photocopiers.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is currently a full-time, hybrid position at 40 hours per week. Typical office hours include Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, however these hours will vary based on workload and the manager's discretion. This job may require more than 40 hours of work per week as the need arises.

Qualifications Required Education and Experience

U.S. Citizenship Associate degree in an accounting discipline with 1-2 years' experience or work experience equivalent Solid understanding of accounting debits and credits Perfectionist by nature Skilled in working with financial and numeric data Highly skilled in the use of excel spreadsheets Excellent verbal and written communication skills Must have excellent work habits with the flexibility to accomplish deadlines in a timely manner especially when important deadlines cause greater than normal departmental pressures A capacity to thrive in a self-motivated environment that has few boundaries and at-times conflicting priorities History of working in a paperless environment Excellent organizationa and analytical skills and a detail-oriented problem-solving approach Preferred Education and Experience

Bachelor's Degree with 1-2 years' experience in an accounting discipline Experience in a manufacturing company
