This role provides a unique opportunity to support a DoD program and bring your valued ISSO experience to Boulder, CO. Role/Responsibilities/Qualifications
Applicant will leverage technical understanding of cyber security to create and apply solutions aligned to client's mission. Applies specific functional knowledge, working and general industry knowledge. Develops or contributes to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Works independently with some guidance and may review or guide activities of junior teammates.
Required Skills 6+ years of experience as an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) supporting a federal agency or federally funded research and development center (FFRDC) Experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance tools and technologies, including Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Visio Experience coordinating Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities to include developing and maintaining System Security Plans (SSP), Security Controls Traceability Matrix (SCTM), and Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) with supporting Bodies of Evidence and other artifacts Knowledge of federal security regulations, standards, and processes, including FISMA, FIPS, FedRAMP, NIST SP 800-37, NIST SP 800-60, and NIST SP 800-53, including Risk Management Framework Bachelor's degree in a Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) field Desired Qualifications Experience with system hardening, configuration testing, continuous monitoring, and scanning using any of the following tools or related tools and applications to include their configuration and tuning to achieve optimal results with Nessus, Splunk, and McAfee Ability to analyze and communicate opportunities for efficiency, identify gaps and work very closely with multiple stakeholders to resolve Plan of Action and Milestones (POAMs), and review and create mitigation reports from compliance and vulnerability scanning tools, including Nessus or SCAP Security+ Certification, CISSP, CISM, CEH Security Clearance & Other Requirements: Secret-level personnel security clearance. Elligible to be cleared up to TS/SCI Travel Minimum travel required - less than 10% of the time Compensation: The typical pay range for this position is USD $85,000 - $165,000 per year, total package. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus, and a full benefits package including a significant profit-sharing retirement savings plan.

Deliverables will be in the format of reports, briefings, spreadsheets, or other documents as directed by the Government, using government approved and/or mandated systems/software and processes governed by guidance/instructions/policy or direction.
