Insight Global Advanced Power Platform Developer in Boydton, Virginia

Job Description

As an advanced power platform developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying innovative solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies. You will work closely with technical program managers, managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

  • Create and maintain Power Apps, Power Automate flows, Power BI dashboards, and Power Virtual Agents using agile methodologies and best practices.

  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft cloud services, such as Azure, Dynamics 365, SharePoint, and Teams.

  • Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of Power Platform solutions.

  • Deploy and monitor solutions using DevOps tools and techniques, and ensure the optimal performance of Azure DevOps instances.

  • Document and demonstrate solutions to stakeholders and end-users.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to power users.

  • Stay updated on and evaluate new features and capabilities of Power Platform technologies.

  • Keep abreast of the latest trends and developments in Power Platform and related technologies.

Pay Rate is between 42/hr - 65/hr.

Skills and Requirements

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Power Platform development or related technologies such as .NET, C#, JavaScript, SQL, etc.

Technical Expertise:

  • Proficient in Power Platform components: Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents.

  • Strong integration skills with services like Azure, Dynamics 365, SharePoint, and Teams.

  • Adept in development tools and techniques, including canvas apps, model-driven apps, common data service, connectors, expressions, and formulas.

  • Skilled in deployment and monitoring tools and techniques, such as DevOps, ALM, governance, and security.

  • Familiar with best practices and standards, including naming conventions, code quality, and performance optimization.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Capable of learning new technologies and adapting to changing requirements.

Certifications:

  • Certification in Microsoft Power Platform or related technologies is a plus null
