TEKsystems Lead Software Engineer in Brampton, Ontario
One of TEKsystems' financial services clients is looking to add a Lead Software Engineer to their team for an initial 12 Month contract
Contact Center Tech/AI is a growing area for all organizations. The bank is focusing on building this out - any customer who calls/emails/texts/etc about any product, this goes through the contact center and utilizing AI to summarize and make inquiries get solved more efficiently.
Title: Lead Software Engineer
Duration: 12 Months, extendable
Location: Brampton, ON 3x a week

CONTACT CENTER TECHNOLOGY + AI EXPERIENCE IS A MUST - does not need to be an expert but have some experience to understand it
• Minimum 7 years software engineering experience
• 5+ years experience with Java & Spring Boot Framework
• Experience with REST concepts
• Experience in developing microservices
• Experience of large-team development in integrated environments (eg: Intellij ) using managed source control systems (e.g. Git)
• Evidence of Design Skills and a good understanding of Design Patterns and why it is good practice to use them
• Good experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and unit testing frameworks
• Agile program experience with continuous delivery approach
Work Environment
3 X a week in office until the team is up and running. Because it is a net new team, the requirement is to be on site consistently until the team is situated.
Once it is up, it will be once a week in office.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $105.00/hr.
