Description and Requirements

The role involves active support and management of logistics operations in Middle East and Africa (MEA) Region, focusing on both forward and reverse logistics & operations. The position requires hands-on experience in supply chain management and return operations. Key responsibilities include coordinating shipments, managing 3PLs and Vendors, managing logistics costs, and optimizing the logistics network to drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Logistics Operations:

  • Manage and support daily logistics operations, ensuring smooth movement of spare parts between EU and MEA regions.

  • Coordinate shipments between carriers and suppliers, supporting import and export activities.

  • Manage both forward and reverse logistics, including defective parts return operations to Forward Stocking Locations (FSL) and Reverse Hubs (RH).

  • Ensure timely and efficient handling of weekly returns and monitoring defective inbound shipments.

Vendor & KPI Management:

  • Act as the focal point for Lenovo repair vendors, managing weekly returns and addressing any ad-hoc return issues.

  • Monitor and report on defective parts issues regularly.

  • Prepare monthly lists of unreturned parts for penalization.

Cost Management:

  • Manage logistics costs, including tracking, reporting, and forecasting.

  • Drive cost efficiency through network optimization and stakeholder management.

Project Management:

  • Handle project management tasks, ensuring compliance with market trends and logistics requirements.

  • Manage business management systems and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.

Analytical & Reporting:

  • Conduct data analysis and produce costs related reports.

  • Use MS Office tools, especially Excel, to manage and analyze large datasets.

Professional Competencies & Qualifications

  • 1+ years in logistics or supply chain management, with an advantage for experience in services SCM.

  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; familiarity with ERP (SAP) is an advantage.

  • Ability to handle a large amount of data and perform detailed data analysis.

  • Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and teamwork abilities.

  • Ability to self-organize, prioritize workload, and work under pressure.

  • Open-minded with the ability to learn new processes and think outside the box.

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) for reporting and analytics.

  • Proactive problem-solving attitude and adaptability to changing environments.

Base gross monthly salary starts from 1.750 EUR. The final offer could be, of course, negotiated higher than the advertised minimum - it all depends on your experience! In addition, there is also variable part (a bonus) in value of 12% of your annual earnings.
