Job Description 1.0 FTE 5-12 Choir Instructor All Breckenridge Public School teachers are charged with providing a rigorous, dynamic, and highly engaging learning environment. The goal of Breckenridge Schools is to hire cutting edge 21st Century Learning experts interested in working in a progressive forward-thinking district. Desired candidates will possess strong content knowledge, ability to integrate technology into the curriculum, willingness to team teach and be part of a team, enthusiasm for project based learning in an active classroom setting and willingness to be innovative in the musical processes with students and the community.
ResponsibilitiesThesuccessful candidate will be responsible for 5th and 6th grade Choir, Middle School Girls/Boys Choir, HS Concert Choir, and Vocal Lessons
Theessential job functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
Make appropriate use of instructional resources and technologies.
Develop and implement innovative methods for providing instruction to students.
Implement the goals and objectives of the District and the school.
Maintain contact and communications with parents
Perform classroom management duties; enforce rules governing the conduct of students; take appropriate disciplinary action with students when necessary.
Continue to seek professional growth and development in the curriculum areas for which employed; attend professional development required by the District.
Student achievement and building positive relationship with students are our number one goals
