Brushvale Grain, Inc. Truck Driver/Grain Hauler in Breckenridge, Minnesota

Need 3 full time, temporary, seasonal Truck Drivers / Grain Haulers to work in Breckenridge, MN. From: 08/15/2024 to 03/31/2025 Work: 40 hrs./week, Mon-Fri. 8 hrs./day A general work week is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. However, because of the complexity of commodities being produced. workers may be requested to work long days as well as on Saturdays, Sundays or Federal Holidays, depending upon the conditions of the commodities being produced. Therefore, hours above 40 per week may be offered but are not guaranteed. As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Applicants may be offered higher than the advertised wage rate due to experience or merit. Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year. Must apply by: 12/08/2024 JOB DESCRIPTION: Monitor grain dryer. Load and unload crops using conveyors or transfer augers. Weigh crop-filled containers and record weights and other identifying information. Participate in the post-harvest inspection and grading of grain. Drive trucks to haul crops to market or storage facilities. Repair and maintain farm vehicles. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Six (6) months experience required. Must have a valid Class D Driver's License within 30 days. Clean driving record required. No minimum education required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
