Description
We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our team for a contract opportunity located in Bridgewater, NJ. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the procurement process, from sourcing suppliers to managing contracts.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the procurement process, ensuring all purchases are in line with company policies
• Utilize ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems to manage procurement activities
• Implement ERP solutions to streamline and improve procurement processes
• Utilize a Management System to track procurement activities and generate reports
• Use Microsoft Excel to manage data and generate reports related to procurement
• Ensure all procurement activities are conducted in a timely manner to meet company deadlines
• Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
• Handle all procurement-related documentation efficiently and accurately
• Manage invoicing and payment processes for all procurement activities.
Requirements • Proficiency in using ATS (Asynchronous Transfer Mode) for efficient data transfer.
• Familiarity with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and ERP solutions for managing business processes.
• Experience with management systems to organize and streamline operations.
• Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Knowledge of 'About Time' software for effective time and attendance tracking.
• Understanding of compliance regulations within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong customer service skills for interacting with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to manage documentation processes related to procurement.
• Experience with invoice processing and tracking.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
