Job Title: Bus Mechanic
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Bus Mechanic to join our team. As a Bus Mechanic, you will be responsible for conducting warranty work and preventative maintenance on a variety of bus sizes. Your duties will include performing oil changes, brakes, lights, electrical wiring, heating and AC, and minor engine and transmission work. While full engine/transmission rebuilds won't be part of your role, you will be expected to perform inspections before and after work is completed. To ensure accurate record keeping, you will also be required to document all completed work in our computer system.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Broadview, Illinois.
Work Environment
Join a supportive team of 5 other technicians. Work week runs Thursday to Monday with Tuesday and Wednesday off. The regular shift is from 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM. Initial training will be provided on 1st shift for 1-2 weeks, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday. A uniform will be provided after 90 days, but until then, a comfortable attire of jeans and a work shirt is recommended. Please note, all candidates must have their own basic tools.
