Goodwill Southeast Georgia CUSTODIAL QC SUPERVISOR in Brunswick, Georgia

Our Custodial Quality Control Supervisors are responsible for control of quality, safety, and lean process management including the coordination, coaching, performance, and execution of QC services.

Your Impact:

  • Provides quality control of custodial contracts and assures the service quality meets or exceeds contract requirements.

  • Maintains industry, company and customer quality standards of excellence and requirements established by the contract and the Quality Control Plan.

  • Prepares and reviews quality-related reports and documents including, but not limited to, QC Inspections, Non-Conformance, Corrective Action, and Preventive Action Reports.

  • Accompanies COR on government inspections and initial off on gov’t. inspection reports.

  • Must be on site five days a week, eight hours a day and coordinate and adjust their workday in accordance with the COR’s schedule inspections. Coordinates a back-up QC inspector during absences.

  • Advises Program Manager, Custodial Supervisors, and Quality Manager on problems and trends regarding quality standards, and inspection site issues. Uplevels issues as needed to ensure Goodwill does not fall out of contract compliance.

  • Works within company and department policies using guidance from QC Manager with respect to overall objectives and independent judgment to accomplish tasks.

  • Promotes a "Safety First" attitude. Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Reports unsafe activities and conditions to management.

  • Develops, trains, performs, and assists with internal quality, safety, and inspections focusing on standardization and standards of excellence.

  • Participates in monthly Quality Control Inspector training to ensure development of individual and team skills in continuous quality improvement.

  • Creates and maintains a "team" environment, demonstrates, and inspires commitment to Goodwill’s mission.

  • Accomplishes organization mission by completing related assignments in a timely manner.

Your Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required. Associate degree from an accredited college or university preferred.

  • A minimum of 3 years of consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities such as custodial, food service or healthcare and in quality control management within the past five years.

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience managing people or projects.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QASP)

  • Increasingly responsible quality, safety, or lean process management experience. Possess knowledge of, or experience with, the areas of janitorial services.

  • An equivalent experience/education combination may be acceptable.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

  • Ability to plan, prioritize, organize, and delegate assignments required.

  • Must be available by 6:00 A.M. and be able to work flexible hours.

  • Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and chemical handling/storage procedures.

  • Proficiency in the use of tablets, computers, email, and Microsoft Office suite.

  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision.

  • Must be able to meet all required security clearances.

  • Ability to travel to/from individual sites if needed. Valid current driver’s license, ability to be insured.
