Responsibilities
nventory control: Tracking stock and making decisions based on the data
Safety standards: Ensuring employees are trained, conducting audits, and monitoring performance
Distribution and warehousing: Organizing the receiving, storing, and dispatching of goods
Policy: Ensuring the warehouse complies with company policies and procedures
Shipping operations: Setting up processes to ensure the efficiency of product handling, storage, and shipment
Warehouse safety: Developing and implementing safety policies and procedures, and maintaining cleanliness and organization
Overseeing security operations
Ensuring equipment is used safely and effectively
Motivating and disciplining staff
Maintaining documentation and records
Assisting with deliveries
Setting up layouts and ensuring space is used efficiently
