Kuehne+Nagel Air Logistics Customer Care Specialist in Bucharest, Romania

Your Role

As a Customer Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive the highest level of support while also driving commercial opportunities to maximize our business growth.

This role requires a strong passion for delivering customer excellence and your dedication to go above and beyond to satisfy the customer’s needs will be the key to your success!

Your Responsibilities

  • Acting as the first point of contact for our customers and partners in the air freight sector

  • Independently processing customer inquiries and creating offers + monitoring and follow up to ensure quotations are accepted and closed

  • Controlling order processing in our system: from order acceptance to document checking and billing, FSL closure and other relevant reporting

  • Tracking and monitoring transport orders in order to provide proactive updates to the customers

  • Acting as an inside sales person, working in close cooperation with the Operational Care Center and other internal stakeholders or with field sales and with carriers (airlines)

  • Monitoring client’s volumes and identifying when customers are up or down trading and acting accordingly

  • Identifying and pursuing possible opportunities to up-sell

  • Documenting, resolving, analyzing all complaints, then identifying, sharing + eliminating root causes

  • Ensuring delivery against financial targets + strategic objectives

Your Skills and Experiences

We are looking for people with 3+ years freight forwarding experience, strong knowledge of Air Logistics (import and export) processes, as well as:

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

  • Exceptional attention to details

  • Ability to support and communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and service excellence

  • Accountable for results, strives to meet and exceed expectations

  • Self-starter with good judgment who can proactively manage up where appropriate

  • Strong time management, prioritization and follow-up skills

  • Well organized and being able to track the progress of daily tasks or the ongoing projects

  • Positive work ethic and attitude
