Job Description

Oracle Applications Labs (OAL) is responsible for implementing, running, and improving nearly all of Oracle's Enterprise On-Premise and Cloud Applications. We often race out ahead of standard product and build extensions as well as custom applications to meet the needs of our 100,000+ employees, Fortune 100 Company. Once proven, our ideas and innovations quickly find their way back into core product.

The OAL Security team implements Security policies and procedures within whole OAL group. This can range from enforcing Global Information Security (GIS) mandated policies to managing the use of personal information and sensitive data on OAL managed systems. The OAL Security team also builds and supports identity and access management tools which are used to integrate within Oracle's Identity Management eco-systems.

Skills/Experience:

  • BS degree in Information Systems/Computer Science or any applied sciences related to IT or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.

  • Min. 3 years of experience with at least 2 of the following subject matters under Application and Data Security including SSO/Federation, Identity Management, Application Development, WebServices, Python, JavaScript, APEX, PL/SQL, eBusiness OR Java programming.

  • In-depth knowledge/experience with PL/SQL and Java.

Responsibilities

Become a team member of the software engineering division within Oracle Applications Labs, where you will:

  • Perform detailed designs based on provided high level design specifications.

  • Assist in system planning, scheduling and implementation.

  • Build enhancements (including new custom product features) and resolve bugs.

  • Build and execute unit test and unit test plans.

  • Perform moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes.
