Baking: Following recipes to create pastries, cookies, breads, and other baked goods Decorating: Using icings, toppings, and other tools to decorate baked goods Custom orders: Meeting with clients to discuss and create custom desserts, such as wedding or birthday cakes Inventory: Monitoring and ordering ingredients, supplies, and equipment, and keeping stock of the kitchen's inventory Quality control: Ensuring the quality of the pastries Health and safety: Ensuring the kitchen is clean and tidy, and that everyone adheres to health and safety procedures
