Summary:

The Administrative Assistant IV will be responsible for coordinating office processes, providing communication and operational support for Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). Coordinates the administrative needs of CNO in daily operations of the clinical and managerial operations of the Nursing/Care Delivery Services service line, including Nursing, Social Work, Quality, Respiratory Care and Interpreters. Responsible for multi-tasking, handling changing priorities at a high level of important and confidential Catholic Health matters and issues. Must be intuitive, provide support requirements and assume full responsibilities for the discharge of their duties. Must represent a high level of professionalism and be reflective of the responsibilities of the department.

Responsibilities:

EDUCATION

  • Associate's Degree required

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

EXPERIENCE

  • Five (5) years of experience in a health related facility, preferably acute care

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

  • Ability to work under pressure with speed and accuracy and meet deadlines

  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency with time sensitive assignments

  • High resilience and tolerance of ambiguity and resistance to stress

  • Ability to manage multiple issues and projects simultaneously

  • Ability to think logically and adapt to changing scenarios in the prioritization of work

  • Ability to relate to customers at all levels

  • Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills

  • Proficient with computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database

  • Uses independent judgment in completing work and operates under general supervision

  • Excellent proof reading skills

  • Proficiency in recording and producing meeting minutes, business correspondence and other related documents

  • Ability to work in a confidential and professional environment

  • Strong organizational and follow through skills

  • Candidate needs to be highly motivated and demonstrates initiative to organize and find efficient solutions to achieve optimal workforce performance
