ABOUT THE JOB

The Training Procedural Change Control, and Technical Writing Leader is responsible for supporting all training efforts across Loan, Payment & Operational Services and additionally supporting a yearly review process of all Loan, Payment & Operational Services Procedures and Letters. It is critical that this individual has a working knowledge of multiple facets within Loan, Payment & Operational Services to properly assess the needs and understand proper support alignment. This leader will manage a team of 10+ individuals who support new hire training, target/refresher training, and the yearly review process with BRC/Compliance/Legal and Risk partners. In addition, the leader will be responsible to play lead role for any large process or system change across Key Bank by supporting all relative process updates, training needs, and communications to the Loan, Payment & Operational Services Teammates.

Operational expertise to lead a team of operations professionals ensuring service delivery excellence for Key's clients. Delivers on successful outcomes of small and mid-size continuous improvement or technology driven projects. Proven track record of developing talent. Accountable for managing risk through the implementation of quality procedures and controls. May lead/manage financial performance that achieves financial commitments.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Assess the need of Training across multiple departments within Loan, Payment & Operational Services and ensure support is in alignment by ensuring all training is tracked/reported, including at the SLT level and the individual level.
  • Ensure New Hire Training is offered across Loan, Payment & Operational Services and being held in person in 2 major sites- Buffalo, and Cleveland, and support virtual onboarding efforts.
  • Regularly review and re-assess feedback from training sessions with team and alter/revamp approach as necessary based off of feedback.
  • Support the Loan, Payment & Operational Services Development promise by offering Professional Development Skill courses and introducing both group and 1:1 classes as requested by leadership team and on a proactive basis as a result of feedback.
  • Consistently ensure Training is at the forefront of Loan, Payment & Operational Services meetings, including but not limited to All Leader meetings, Employee Town Halls, and individual Team Meetings.
  • Responsible to lead the effort of devising a Training Plans and executing the plan for any systems or process changes that occur within Loan, Payment & Operational Services by participating in all relative active projects that affect the teams.
  • Own and manage a yearly review process of all Loan, Payment & Operational Services procedures and the control process for Letters by ensuring SME review, leadership sign off, and applicable Risk Management sign off.
  • Track and maintain consistent approach for the yearly review process by ensuring all teams across Loan, Payment & Operational Services are equally supported and SLT owner certifies completion at year end.
  • Manage ongoing tracking of all initiatives across the team by ensuring ongoing cadence of review and re-prioritizing initiatives for the team and revamping approach.
  • Own and develop yearly plan of achievements across Loan, Payment & Operational Services, which includes goals and target deadlines, as well as engagement and support needed from senior leaders by obtaining buy in.
  • Continually build relationships and partnerships across Loan, Payment & Operational Services and partners (Legal/Compliance/BRC), as well as maintain ongoing partnership meetings with the Learning and Development Team to discuss current initiatives and request support as needed to accomplish team goals
  • Manage and own relationship with ConvergePoint vendors, ensuring application functionality is sufficient for all of Loan, Payment &Operational Services
  • Monitor and respond to procedure exams timely supporting Loan, Payment & Operational Services compile procedure inventories and reporting when needed.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day activities of a function/product within a defined area while providing service excellence to achieve SLAs for internal partners and/or customers.
  • Proactively understand risk and implement and/or test procedural controls to ensure compliance with government regulations and bank policies.
  • Implements project or continuous improvement initiatives that tie to strategic objectives.
  • Execute human capital decisions and projects to achieve the financial goals of the division.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years Training, procedure review and Content Creation experience.
  • Risk and compliance driven.
  • Established leadership experience
  • Demonstrates ability to make sound decisions, use problem solving skills and work under deadline pressure.
  • Proven ability to set and obtain goals for individual and team
  • Excellent interpersonal and motivation skills.
  • Superior verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Willing to maintain flexible schedule

Key has implemented a role-based Mobile by Design approach to our employee workspaces, dedicating space to those whose roles require specific workspaces, while providing flexible options for roles which are less dependent on assigned workspaces and can be performed effectively in a mobile environment. As a result, this role may be mobile or home based, which means you may work either at a home office or in a Key facility to perform your job duties. Preferred location is Brooklyn, OH. Selected candidate will typically work at least two days a week at the office location.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $70,000.00 to $95,000.00 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
