Meta Technical Program Manager - Reality Labs Privacy Infrastructure in Burlingame, California

Summary:

Within the Reality Labs (RL) Trust organization, our Privacy team enables our organization to deliver on our privacy promises. We offer cross-RL strategic guidance, infrastructure, and common solutions to support these efforts, and we represent RL in cross-Meta Privacy initiatives. We tackle some of the most challenging issues in regulatory, compliance and privacy areas. The work we do is extremely critical for Meta to stay compliant with different regulatory requirements across the globe, and build proactive solutions to continually meet all our obligations. Efforts driven by this team include: privacy-preserving computing, purpose limitation, consent platform, compliance solutions.We’re looking for a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead company critical initiatives in our Privacy Infrastructure domain. This TPM will share our passion and in-depth understanding of engineering solutions that enable world-class privacy for RL while improving user trust on our products. This TPM will partner closely with our Engineering and Product Management teams to develop and follow through on multi-year Privacy roadmaps and help define what comes next.Come join our team! Required Skills:

Technical Program Manager - Reality Labs Privacy Infrastructure Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and manage end-to-end technical product and engineering solutions and ensure on-time delivery.

  2. Manage and own cross-functional products and programs execution in a matrix organization.

  3. Drive and influence technical, product, and program strategy. Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategies, align on priorities, and set direction for a broadly cross-functional area.

  4. Design success metrics and measurements to track impact and drive internal process improvements.

  5. Collaboratively define the vision for building Meta-scale, state-of-the-art, global platforms.

  6. Develop and manage end-to-end program plans to ensure on-time delivery, provide day-to-day coordination, and quality assurance for tasks.

  7. Move fast in a flat organization by partnering with Engineers, Technical Program Managers, Product Managers, and cross-functional teams across Meta to establish a shared vision for improving execution and building solutions.

  8. Ongoing communication of planning, project status, issues and risks in a timely fashion to stakeholders.

  9. Establish shared goals with product teams across the company to build alignment across multiple cross-functional teams and to build and scale products for Meta.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field or equivalent experience.

  2. 8+ years of software engineering, systems engineering, hardware engineering, or technical product/program management experience.

  3. Experience in delivering technical programs or products from inception to delivery.

  4. Experience in defining strategic direction and identifying new opportunities for impact amongst products, platforms and programs.

  5. Experience in team leadership, decision making, and presenting to large groups.

  6. Experience in communicating and influencing leadership and technical teams to develop systems, solutions, and products.

  2. Experience in leading large-scale real-time data programs.

  3. Experience in leading large-scale software infrastructure programs.

Public Compensation:

$167,000/year to $230,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
